Today at least one big team will be out of the CAN 2017. At two o'clock there are two
games. Zimbabwe faces Tunisia, and Senegal
is against Algeria. Of its four
teams, only one is already guaranteed to compete in the quarterfinals of the
competition.
Match Schedule:
Algeria vs. Senegal
CAN 2017, Group stage
Date: 23 January 2017;
Time: 19:00
Venue: Stade de
Franceville
This is Senegal,
impressive in his two wins in two games. For the rest, everything remains to be
done. Tunisia and Algeria can be
eliminated, and even both together, if Zimbabwe creates surprise in particular
against the Lions of Teranga.
Algeria will be played its last match in
this phase of CAN 2017 against
Senegal, Monday, January 23. Algerians no longer have the right to error. If
they want to make out the quarterfinals of the 2017 African Cup of Nations, the
Greens will have to win against Senegal on Monday evening during the third and
final day of Group B.
The men of Georges Leekens were in a very bad situation by
sharing the points of the draw against Zimbabwe (2-2) when they entered the
competition and then bowed to the Tunisian neighbor last week (2 -1).
Consequence the Algerians are no longer masters of their destiny.
Algeria is unrecognizable in this CAN where the Fennecs got only one
point in the space of two games. The Algerians win against Zimbabwe (2-2) and
beaten by Tunisia (1-2). To rise to the quarter-finals, must win this evening
against Senegal and hope at the same time one against -performance of Tunisia
against Zimbabwe.
