Match Schedule:
France vs. Sweden
Quarterfinals of Handball Championship
Date: 24 January 2017; Time: 17:00
Venue: Albertville

It must be said that the Swedes have not ceased to impress since the beginning of the competition. The Scandinavians lost only one game against Denmark, the defending Olympic champion (27-25), who fell to the surprise of Hungary on Sunday. The men of Didier Dinart and Guillaume Gille will have to be suspicious against this nation which dominated the world handball.

France faces Sweden this Tuesday at 7pm. The Scandinavians have in fact pulverized Belarus 41-22. The players of Kristjan Andresson did not have to force their talent. For Sweden is in the process of becoming the great nation of hand she was. The danger is real for the Karabatic Blues.

Swedish handball men play tonight their first championship quarterfinals since the Olympics in 2012. And it will be the hardest possible resistance. Totally transformed since the fiasco of the Rio Olympics - a single victory in the group stage - seriously rejuvenated, Sweden has impressed since the start of the competition. It has only one defeat against Denmark, and yet it had fallen against a great Niklas Landin.
