Since the coronavirus
epidemic forced extraordinary measures to be implemented, sport has had to
adapt. All major competitions have
been suspended, some while they are in full swing. Those who have been able to
do so without predicting too many repercussions - as in the case of Italian
rugby - have already decided to cancel the season, all the more after the
postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, which was scheduled to start in
late July. But the most important competitions, such as Serie A in Italy, the European
football championships, Formula 1
and the NBA have stalled
indefinitely. Pending the next decisions, the world of sport has not completely
stopped: those who are part of it, those who work in it and those who frequent
it continue to do so.
